Welcome to the Life After Moonrise - Stars RP
Section titled “Welcome to the Life After Moonrise - Stars RP”We’re a group of gamers and role players who just love a good story, a little Phasmophobia, and a LOT of Dungeons and Dragons. Our group slowly came together back in 2019 around the idea of roleplaying as super heroes. We took inspiration from the Marvel Movies, My Hero Academia, and a dozen other sources. Overtime we branched out to have game nights, DnD campaigns, and now our group is tackling the idea of doing a space-based role play that pulls inspiration from Cowboy Bebop, the Expanse, Murderbot Diaries, and quite a few other epic sci-fi adventures.
Yes, we’re nerds, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
And this is fun?
Section titled “And this is fun?”OH YEA. We get invested in our stories. It’s almost like kids playing pretend, but we’re old enough to write bigger, better, and deeper adventures. Our players have cried over a character death in Dungeons and Dragons, celebrated triumphs over nasty villains, and collectively screamed at a TPK (total party kill) in Phasmophobia. We’ve also done a fair bit of playing in Valheim, Aliens: Fireteam Elite, and about a dozen other games. It’s all a good time.
We could be playing games alone, but why do that when you can have friends and all die together because SOMEONE had to pull the tarot cards in a ghost game?
Can I join?
Section titled “Can I join?”Yep! Our discord is open to one and all! We’re a nice and relaxed group. Damn-near anyone can join us, BUT we do have some restrictions:
- 18+ Only - We’re all adults, with adult senses of humor. We’re not going to be fielding calls from angry parents.
- Inclusive Space - We have LGBT+ friends in our group. If you have any problems with them, you have a problem with all of us.
- NO AI - AI is a cool concept in sci-fi, but it is causing problems in the world. We’re not open to anything AI-generated.
